King IPTV on Fire TV Stick
How to Set Up IPTV on an Amazon Fire TV Stick
Add a player with the free Downloader app, type your King IPTV login once, and live TV opens with a full grid guide. Check your model first: the newest sticks run Vega OS.
- Roughly 10 minutes start to finish
- Same steps for trial and paid logins
- Written for non-technical people

Fire TV Stick IPTV setup takes three moves: get the free Downloader app from the Amazon Appstore, let it install apps, then use it to add TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro. Type the Xtream Codes details we email you and 50,000+ live channels arrive with their TV guide. Budget 10 minutes. This works on the 4K Max, the 2023 Fire TV Stick 4K, the 2024 Fire TV Stick HD, the Lite and every Fire TV Cube. Amazon's newest sticks run Vega OS instead and refuse outside apps, so step 1 is a quick model check.
Have these ready first
- A Fire TV device on Fire OS (step 1 explains the check)
- Your King IPTV login details, sent by email after payment or with the 24-hour trial
- About 500 MB of free storage on the stick
- Roughly 10 Mbps per HD screen, 25 Mbps for 4K
Fire TV Stick setup, step by step
Confirm the stick runs Fire OS
Press Home, pick the gear icon (Settings), then My Fire TV > About. When the software line reads Fire OS plus a number like 7 or 8, continue. A 4K Select, a 2026 HD, a 3rd-gen 4K, or a version starting with 1 and no Fire OS label means Vega: jump to the Vega section below.
Get Downloader from the Appstore
Open Find > Search from the home screen, type Downloader and select the orange icon published by AFTVnews. Press Get or Download. It costs nothing. Keep it closed for now.
Reveal Developer options
Go back to Settings > My Fire TV > About. Highlight the top line showing your device name, such as Fire TV Stick 4K Max, and click the centre button 7 times. A countdown runs, then No need, you are already a developer appears. Press Back: Developer options is now listed. Fire TV smart TVs use Settings > Device & Software for the same trick.
Give Downloader install permission
Select Developer options > Install unknown apps and flip Downloader to ON. Older Fire OS shows a single Apps from Unknown Sources switch; turn that on. ADB debugging stays off. Only Downloader gets this right.
Fetch the player
Launch Downloader and press Allow for file access. In the address box on the Home tab, enter the download link published on the player developer's official site, then press Go. Unsure which link is current? Our Live Chat team sends the one we use. Random APK mirrors often carry stale builds or adware.
Install, then delete the file
On the install screen press Install, wait for App installed, and pick Done, not Open. Downloader then offers to remove the package: press Delete twice. That frees space a small stick badly needs.
Add your King IPTV login
In TiviMate, choose Add playlist > Xtream Codes. Copy the server address (keep the
http://and port), username and password character for character, then press Next. After the channel count appears, name the playlist King IPTV and press Done. Smarters users pick Add User > Login with Xtream Codes API.Test, then pin it to the front
Allow one to three minutes for the guide to fill, then play a news channel and a sports channel for a minute each. Happy? Hold Home, open Apps, highlight TiviMate, press the three-line Menu button and choose Move to front.
What if my Fire TV Stick runs Vega OS?
A Vega OS stick cannot run TiviMate or Smarters, because Vega accepts Appstore apps only and Downloader is not offered for it. Vega is Amazon's own Linux-based system. It arrived on the 4K Select in 2025, then on a new HD stick in 2026, and a 3rd-gen Fire TV Stick 4K on Vega began shipping in Canada at the end of September 2026, as AFTVnews reports.
| Device | System | Runs TiviMate? |
|---|---|---|
| 4K Max (2023) | Fire OS | Yes |
| 4K (2023) and 4K Plus | Fire OS | Yes |
| HD (2024), Lite, 3rd-gen stick | Fire OS | Yes |
| Fire TV Cube, any generation | Fire OS | Yes |
| 4K Select (2025) | Vega OS | No |
| HD (2026, Wi-Fi 6) | Vega OS | No |
| 4K (3rd gen, 2026) | Vega OS | No |
We found no Xtream Codes player in the Vega Appstore as of October 2026, though Amazon may add one later. Bought a Vega stick recently? Swapping it for a 4K Max inside the return window is the easy fix, or pick a Google TV streamer instead.
Which player suits a Fire TV: TiviMate or Smarters?
Pick TiviMate if live channels are your main use, and Smarters if you mostly browse films and series. TiviMate opens on a cable-style grid and flips channels with the remote's arrow keys. Smarters shows big tiles and has no paid tier. TiviMate Premium (recording, extra playlists) is an optional fee paid to its developer through the TiviMate Companion phone app; we do not sell it. See our TiviMate vs Smarters comparison or the full TiviMate guide.
Fixing common Fire TV Stick problems
- No Developer options after 7 clicks. Click the device name, not the version line. Still nothing? You likely own a Vega model.
- "App not installed". The download broke off. Delete it, fetch it again, and check space under Settings > My Fire TV > About > Storage.
- "Invalid login". Retype the password and server slowly. An ended trial also triggers this, so ask King IPTV Live Support to check your line.
- Evening buffering. Use 5 GHz Wi-Fi or Amazon's Ethernet adapter, then work through our buffering checklist.
- Blank guide. Wait five minutes, then run an EPG update in the player's settings.
Fire TV Stick IPTV questions
Will the Fire TV Stick 4K Select run an IPTV player?
No. The 4K Select runs Vega OS, which installs Appstore apps only, and no full IPTV player such as TiviMate was listed there in October 2026. The 2026 HD stick and the 3rd-gen 4K stick share this limit. Exchange it for a 4K Max or use a Google TV device.
Is Downloader safe on a Fire TV Stick?
Yes. Downloader is a free browser and file tool from AFTVnews, listed in the Amazon Appstore. The risk lies only in what you fetch with it. Stick to official developer links or the link our support team sends, and delete each package after installing.
Does King IPTV play in 4K on a Fire TV Stick?
Yes, on 4K hardware. The Fire TV Stick 4K, 4K Max and Fire TV Cube show 4K channels where the broadcast exists in 4K, given a 4K TV and roughly 25 Mbps. The Lite and HD sticks top out at 1080p, which still looks sharp.
Can several Fire TV Sticks share one King IPTV login?
Yes, up to the number of screens on your plan, from 1 to 5 at once. Install the player on each stick and enter the same details. Choose a matching plan on the subscription page so no TV is refused during a big game.
Can I test King IPTV on my stick before paying?
Yes. Each household gets one free 24-hour trial with every channel and the movie library, no payment asked. Run this guide with the trial login at your usual viewing hours. Request the free trial and the login arrives by email.
