TiviMate Setup with King IPTV: Playlist, EPG and Premium

TiviMate makes an IPTV login feel like a cable box: a scrolling guide, channel numbers and a remote that behaves.

  • Roughly 10 minutes start to finish
  • Same steps for trial and paid logins
  • Written for non-technical people
TiviMate IPTV setup guide: install King IPTV step by step

TiviMate is an IPTV player for Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV that shows channels in a cable-style program grid. Add King IPTV as an Xtream Codes playlist with the server address, username and password from your email, and the guide fills itself in. The free version plays live TV. Premium, sold as a yearly plan or a one-time lifetime licence, adds favourites, catch-up, recording and multi-view. On a Fire TV, which has no Google Play, you buy Premium through the TiviMate Companion app on an Android phone. Setup takes about 10 minutes.

Have these ready first

  • An Android TV or Google TV device (Google TV Streamer, Chromecast with Google TV, NVIDIA Shield, a Sony or TCL Google TV) or a Fire TV Stick running Fire OS
  • Your King IPTV Xtream Codes details, from a plan or the free 24-hour trial
  • For Premium on Fire TV: an Android phone or tablet with Google Play, for the Companion app
  • For recordings: free internal space or a USB drive
  • On Fire TV: the Downloader app from the Amazon Appstore

Adding King IPTV to TiviMate, start to finish

  1. Install TiviMate IPTV Player

On Android TV or Google TV, search the Play Store for TiviMate and install TiviMate IPTV Player by Armobsoft FZE. On a Fire TV, open Downloader and enter code 272483 or the address tivimate.com/apk, both published on TiviMate’s own site. Downloader needs permission first; our Fire TV Stick guide shows where to switch it on.

  2. Open the app and select Add playlist

A fresh install shows one button: Add playlist. Later ones go under Settings > Playlists.

  3. Choose Xtream Codes

From the playlist types, pick Xtream Codes. The M3U and Stalker portal options also work with King IPTV, but Xtream brings in the guide, movies and series with the least typing.

  4. Enter server address, username and password

Type the server address exactly as emailed, including http:// and the port, then the username and password. The Google TV or Fire TV phone app can type for you. Select Next.

  5. Check the summary, name it and select Done

A summary counts the live channels, films and shows found; big numbers mean the login worked. Select Next, call the playlist "King IPTV" and press Done.

  6. Let the program guide finish downloading

With a large list, the first guide download takes a few minutes. Let the grid fill before judging which channels lack listings.

  7. Hide the groups you will never watch

Open Settings > Playlists, select King IPTV and choose Manage groups. Switch off languages and regions you do not need.

  8. Add Premium if you want the extras

On a device with Google Play, open the Premium entry at the top of TiviMate’s Settings and pay there. On a Fire TV, install TiviMate Companion on an Android phone, create an account and buy Premium in it. Then open the Premium entry in TiviMate on the TV and sign in with that same account.

  9. Set a parental PIN

Open Settings > Parental control, choose a PIN, then pick the groups to lock.

How to set up and refresh the TiviMate EPG

With an Xtream Codes playlist, the EPG (TV guide) arrives automatically; you rarely need to add anything. To force a fresh download, open Settings > EPG and run the update. Premium users can also set the Update interval; once every 24 hours suits most homes.

  • Listings off by an hour or more: look for the EPG time shift option in the same EPG menu, and check the TV device’s own time zone.
  • One channel shows no programs: that channel has no matched guide data yet, which does not mean the rest of the guide is broken.

TiviMate free vs Premium: what changes?

Free plays one playlist with the guide; Premium adds the rest:

TiviMate free and Premium (main differences, 2026)
FeatureFreePremium
Live TV with program gridYesYes
More than one playlistNoYes
FavouritesNoYes
Catch-up on supported channelsNoYes
RecordingNoYes
Multi-viewNoYes
Automatic EPG update intervalNoYes

When we checked in 2026, Premium cost about US$12 a year or about US$34 once for lifetime, with Google Play showing the final amount in Canadian dollars before you confirm. That money goes to TiviMate’s developer, not to King IPTV, and it includes no channels. The TiviMate Companion listing in Google Play describes the phone app’s role: activating Premium on devices without Google Play and managing your activated devices.

Catch-up, favourites, recordings and multi-view

Catch-up: channels that keep an archive show a small icon in the guide. Scroll left into the past, select a program and press OK to play it from the beginning.

Favourites: long-press OK on a channel and add it to favourites. A Favourites group then tops the guide, the quickest way to tame 50,000+ channels.

Recordings: choose a storage folder under Settings > Recording, then long-press a program in the guide and record it. An hour of HD fills roughly 2 to 3 GB, and a Fire TV Stick has only a few gigabytes free, so a USB drive (with an OTG adapter on a Stick) is the realistic option.

Multi-view: long-press while watching and open multi-view to tile several channels. Each tile uses one screen of your plan.

Tips for smoother TiviMate playback

If live sports stutter, open Settings > Playback and raise Buffer size one level at a time; a bigger buffer trades a few seconds of delay for fewer pauses. Ethernet beats any setting. When we add channels, refresh your list with Settings > Playlists > King IPTV > Update playlist. Deciding between players? TiviMate IPTV questions

Is TiviMate free?

The basic app is free and plays live TV with the guide from one playlist. Favourites, catch-up, recording, multi-view and extra playlists need Premium, paid yearly or once for lifetime to TiviMate’s developer. Neither version includes channels; you add those with a subscription such as King IPTV.

Can I buy TiviMate Premium on a Fire TV Stick?

Not on the Stick itself, because Fire TV lacks Google Play billing. The purchase happens in the TiviMate Companion phone app, which needs an Android device with Google Play. Afterwards, sign in with that Companion account from the Premium entry in TiviMate’s Settings on the Fire TV.

Why does TiviMate say it cannot load my playlist?

Usually the server address is missing http:// or the port, or the username has a typo. It also happens when a trial has passed its 24 hours. Edit the playlist under Settings, Playlists, retype the details and try again. If it still fails, send a photo of the screen to King IPTV Live Chat.

Can I use TiviMate on my Android phone?

It installs, but its developer says TiviMate is designed for TV remotes and not optimized for phones or tablets, so menus feel awkward on touch. On a phone, a touch-first player works better; our Android phone and tablet guide shows the options.

How many devices does TiviMate Premium cover?

One Premium account can be active on up to 5 devices, and you manage them in the Companion app. That is separate from King IPTV screens: your King IPTV plan decides how many devices stream at once, from 1 to 5. See the subscription plans or start with the free trial.
