IPTV Questions, Answered Plainly

Short, honest replies to what people across Canada want to know before and after switching to IPTV. Each page puts the plain answer at the top and the detail underneath. Search below or browse by topic.

How these answers are written

Every topic on this page started as a message in our support chat or a search that Canadians type into Google. We group the many ways people word the same worry, then answer it once, properly. The first lines of each page give the plain answer in a sentence or two, so you can stop reading there if that is all you needed. Below it you will find the reasons, the exceptions and the steps.

We try hard to be fair. When IPTV is the wrong choice for a home, for example on a slow rural connection or a satellite plan with a small data cap, the answer says so. When the honest answer depends on your device, your province or your internet provider, we explain what changes and why. Facts about apps and devices change often, so each page shows the date it was last checked.
